Call during the hours shown, collect your friend and choose an activity they enjoy. A successful outing improves the Like stat in the pause-menu Stats screen. You can make several stops before taking them home. Repeatedly missing plans or choosing activities they dislike can lower the relationship.

Brucie, Little Jacob and Patrick McReary have required activities and favors for 100% completion. Roman and Dwayne do not count because story choices can remove them.
