Only deposited hats count toward the 20-hat completion, which leads to the Hat Donation Box secret badge and a separate Personal Safety Spikes claim.

Natural Disaster Survival Secret Quest Requirements in The Hunt: Roblox 20
Before starting Natural Disaster Survival, complete all 20 main quests in The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub and unlock Year Infinity. Roblox's event guide says the secret quests opened on September 19 and are activated through clues in the hub, so follow the Natural Disaster Survival clue before entering the experience.
This is a separate objective from the regular animal rescue task. Reaching the Natural Disaster Survival lobby by itself does not replace the event prerequisite or open the hat route. Once the secret path is available, join the official Natural Disaster Survival experience and follow the steps below.
How to Find the Natural Disaster Survival Secret Room
Wait in the Natural Disaster Survival lobby and look for the blue staircase in the center of the room. Go down to the grey podium at the bottom, then stand in the center of the podium. The underground entrance opens when you are in the right spot and leads to the Secret Room.
You do not need an NPC, currency, or special item for this step. The blue stairs and grey podium are the landmarks that matter.
How to Activate the Natural Disaster Survival Secret Quest
Inside the Secret Room, find the blue computer or monitor. Use it and replace the displayed False value with True. When the value reads True, the hidden hat objective is active.
The exact position of the computer is less important than recognizing the blue monitor and changing the value. Do not leave the room assuming that finding the Donation Box alone has started the quest.
How to Collect and Deposit 20 Hats in Natural Disaster Survival
The main requirement is a deposit total of 20 hats. Picking up a hat starts the collection loop, but it does not complete the objective until you bring that hat back to the Donation Box.
How to Collect Hats in Natural Disaster Survival
- Enter an ordinary Natural Disaster Survival round on one of the disaster maps.
- Watch for hats dropped by players who die or leave the server. Pick them up when it is safe to do so.
- Carry multiple hats when you can, then stay alive through the round and finish it.
- Return to the waiting lobby and go back into the underground Secret Room.
The hats come from normal rounds, so you do not need a special game mode or a separate map. Focus on safe drops and bring back everything you successfully collected after the round ends.
How to Deposit 20 Hats and Get the Secret Badge
In the Secret Room, go to the Hat Donation Box opposite the computer and deposit the hats you are carrying. Repeat the round-and-return loop until the box has received 20 hats.
The running total is based on deposits, not pickups. After the 20th hat is accepted, the Roblox 20 Secret Quest - Hat Donation Box badge should register. If you only collected hats but never used the box, the secret quest is not complete.
Natural Disaster Survival Secret Quest Badge and Personal Safety Spikes Reward
The badge and the wearable claim are two separate parts of the finish. First, complete the 20-hat deposit requirement so the Hat Donation Box badge registers. Then return to The Hunt hub to claim Personal Safety Spikes from the hidden statue.
How to Claim Personal Safety Spikes
- Return to the 2011 Natural Disaster Survival area in The Hunt: Roblox 20 hub.
- Look to the right for the red barn.
- Walk behind the barn and into the bushes.
- Interact with the hidden reward statue to claim Personal Safety Spikes.
The statue is not in the underground Natural Disaster Survival room, so do not keep searching there after the 20th deposit.
Natural Disaster Survival Secret Quest Not Progressing
If the hidden route is not working, check these points in order:
- The room does not open: Confirm that you completed all 20 main quests, unlocked Year Infinity, and followed the Natural Disaster Survival clue in The Hunt hub.
- Hats are not appearing: Make sure the computer value was changed from
FalsetoTruebefore you start collecting. - The count is not moving: Picking up or carrying a hat is not the same as depositing it. Return to the Secret Room and use the Hat Donation Box.
- The badge or statue is still unavailable: Finish the round before returning with drops, confirm that the box accepted 20 deposits, then rejoin the hub or server and check again before repeating the collection run.
Once the 20th deposit is accepted, go straight to the 2011 hub area and claim the statue reward. Complete the route before the official September 28 event deadline if you want both the badge and Personal Safety Spikes.
