- Swim down through the underwater cave until you reach a wrecked submarine blocking the path.
- Swim past the wreck quickly before your pressure bar runs out.
- Drop through the hole beneath the wreck to enter Tidefall.

Tide and Thalass Essences: These come from breaking Dripstones during the Dripstone Collapse event. You can start this event by using the Dripstone Collapse Totem (costs 35 million C$, sold by the Drowned Merchant near the Fallen Rod) or wait for it to spawn randomly via a sundial.
When the event starts, an announcement appears. Rush to the spawn point and use a pickaxe to break the Dripstones. You’ll get essences or rocks, so keep breaking them until you collect enough.
