Steal a Brainrot The Return Event Guide

Updated on January 27, 2026 (5 days ago)

The Return update in Steal a Brainrot dropped on January 24, 2026, and runs until January 28. This event brings back the classic Fuse Machine, introduces a new Tsunami Limited Time Mode, and adds cool features like Rebirth 18 and Admin Abuse events. If you want to grab rare Brainrots and enjoy fresh gameplay, here’s everything you need to know.

Here’s how to get started with The Return update

Head straight to the center of the map where you’ll find two key machines side by side: the Fuse Machine and the Tsunami Machine, right next to the Shop. The Fuse Machine is your go-to for combining Brainrots from Common all the way to Legendary tiers. The Tsunami Machine launches you into the new Tsunami Limited Time Mode (LTM), where the real action begins.

In Tsunami LTM, you’ll be in a big open field scattered with Brainrots of all rarities. Your goal? Pick up as many Brainrots as possible and get back to the starting point before the tsunami waves catch you. These waves come in different speeds: Easy, Medium, and Fast: and sometimes bring mutations that can change the Brainrots on the field, adding a fun strategic twist.

What makes Tsunami LTM different and how to survive

The tsunami waves sweep across the field, and some waves can turn Brainrots into Gold or apply other mutations. You can’t steal from other players’ bases during this mode, so focus on collecting and escaping. To survive, use the slabs that appear at fixed spots as safe zones to hide from the waves.

Near the starting area, the Speed Shop lets you upgrade your running speed. This is super helpful because the rarer Brainrots like Mythical or Brainrot God tiers spawn further out in the field. Keep an eye on the countdown banner above the start zone: it tells you when the next Mythical or Secret Brainrot will appear. When the timer hits zero, sprint to the far end to grab these rare Brainrots before anyone else. Secret Brainrots stay on the field until someone collects them or they get replaced by the next spawn.

Note that Tsunami LTM focuses only on collecting Brainrots and Lucky Blocks. Stealing from other players is turned off here, so it’s all about speed and smart movement.

Don’t miss the Admin Abuse events and new features

Every Tuesday at 6:00 PM EST and Saturday at 3:00 PM EST, Admin Abuse events drop rare loot like Lucky Blocks, special traits, and limited Brainrots. These events last about 30 to 45 minutes across all servers. Make sure to check the in-game event page or Discord for exact timings.

Rebirth 18 is also part of this update, unlocking an extra +1 slot and introducing the Flash Teleport gear. This gear boosts your mobility, letting you move faster around the map.

What new Brainrots can you collect?

The Return update adds 8 brand-new Brainrots ranging from Mythic to Secret tiers, including the cool Hydra Dragon Cannelloni. Plus, some classic Brainrots from Common to Legendary tiers are back, though the exact list isn’t confirmed yet. Collecting these new and returning Brainrots will seriously level up your collection.
