You’ll turn ores into weapons and armor, which is the backbone of your progress. I remember how many times I returned here just to upgrade my gear before heading back out. Nearby, the Enhancer’s Place lets you boost your weapons and armor using essences dropped by enemies. Don’t skip this because unenhanced gear feels weak fast. Across from the Enhancer is the Runemaker’s Place, where you can slot runes into your equipment. Runes add cool effects like lifesteal or poison, which really change how you fight. Maria’s Potion Shop is right next to the Forging Station. She sells potions that help with mining and combat. I found her lanterns especially handy for exploring dark caves safely. Speaking of mining, Miner Fred’s Shop sells pickaxes. Upgrading your pickaxe here made mining faster and helped me reach rarer ores sooner.
If your inventory fills up with old weapons, Marbles’s Shop is where you sell them for gold. For ores and essences, Greedy Cey’s Shop is the place to cash in, but I learned not to sell ores here if I wanted to make more money by forging instead.

Moving On to the Forgotten Kingdom

The Wizard’s Tower is accessible by taking the left path when you spawn. Aida joins the Wizard here, and you can reroll your race again.
Other Important Locations
- Goblin Village and Goblin Cave: Home to the Goblin King and related quests. The cave unlocks after completing the Goblin King quest and is full of rare crystals.
- Captain Rowan’s Camp: A guarded area with NPCs giving quests.
- Ruined Cave: A dangerous cave with high-level enemies and rare ores. It contains areas like Descent Beginnings, Ashen Passage, Catacombs, and The Sunken Cells.
